The OUXI GT-24 is an electric fatbike with 24-inch wheels, larger than the 20-inch wheels you see on most fatbikes. That bigger wheel provides a more spacious riding position, which is especially comfortable for taller riders who often find standard fatbikes too cramped for their legs. Large wheels and riding position

The main difference from a regular fatbike is the 24-inch wheels. They make the bike slightly taller and give you more room to stretch your legs, great if you’re taller and feel cramped on smaller models. The handlebar stem is adjustable so you can fine-tune your riding position. The saddle is comfortable for daily rides. If you’re on the smaller side, the larger size might feel bulky, and you might prefer a 20-inch model. Size is really the starting point for your choice here.

Range and battery

The GT-24 runs on a 48V 15Ah battery that you can remove from the bike to charge separately. Charging takes about four hours. How far you can go depends on your weight, wind, level of assistance, and terrain, so we give a range rather than a fixed number. For daily trips to work or the store, you’ll charge every few days. Planning a longer ride? Lower the assistance to extend your range. You can easily cover a regular daily distance.

Motor, speed, and regulations

The 250W motor assists you up to 25 km/h. You pedal along yourself and there’s no throttle, so the GT-24 counts as a regular electric bike. No driver’s license, registration, or helmet required. There’s a walk assist up to 6 km/h, handy when pushing the bike by hand. We don’t recommend tuning the bike: it would fall outside the legal category, the brakes and frame aren’t designed for it, and your warranty would be void. This way, the bike stays within the regular category, no license or registration needed.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The wide 24x4.0 tires provide grip and absorb vibrations on asphalt, tiles, and gravel paths. Thanks to the larger wheel size, the bike rolls smoothly and maintains speed easily. The frame is made of steel, which is sturdy but also makes the bike heavier. At the front, there is a suspension fork for extra comfort. You brake with hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, which provide controlled stopping power, even when wet. The LCD display with NFC shows your speed and battery level. The downside of the steel frame and large wheels is the weight: lifting the bike takes effort.

Who is this fatbike for

The GT-24 is mainly designed for taller riders who find a standard fatbike too cramped. The larger wheels and adjustable stem provide more space and a more relaxed riding feel on longer rides. It is less suitable for shorter riders who want a compact, lightweight bike or for those who need to lift the bike often. To be honest: the size that makes the GT-24 comfortable for tall people makes it less convenient for those who don’t need the extra size. If you know your height and how you’ll use the bike, this decision is quite straightforward.
