Large wheels and seating position

Range and battery

The 48V 15Ah battery is removable, so you can charge it separately, which takes about four hours. How far you get depends on weight, wind, assistance level, and terrain, so expect some variation. For daily rides, you recharge every few days, and on longer trips, you lower the assistance to go further. How much that helps depends on your route, weight, and the wind.

Motor, speed, and regulations

The 250W motor supports speeds up to 25 km per hour. You pedal yourself, no throttle, so the gray GT-24 counts as a regular electric bike. No license, registration, or helmet required. There is a walk assist up to 6 km per hour. We advise against tuning: you fall outside the legal category, the bike is not built for it, and your warranty will be void. This way, the gray GT-24 stays within the regular category, without license or registration.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The wide 24x4.0 tires provide grip and absorb vibrations, while the larger wheels roll smoothly. The steel frame is sturdy but also makes the bike heavier. The suspension fork adds comfort. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide controlled stopping power, even in wet conditions, and the LCD display with NFC shows speed and battery. The weight is the downside: lifting requires strength. If you often have to carry it up stairs, consider that weight.

Who is this fatbike for

The gray GT-24 is especially suitable for taller riders who find a standard fatbike too cramped. The larger wheels and adjustable stem provide space and a relaxed riding feel. Less suitable for those who are shorter and want a compact, lightweight bike, or who often need to carry the bike. Honestly: the size is the reason to choose it or not. If you are on the tall side, that extra size works to your advantage.
