Buying a fatbike usually starts with how you plan to use it. Some look for a bike for daily use, others just want to ride comfortably through the city without hassle. At Gofatbike, you’ll find not only fatbikes but a complete range that fits different situations. From models for daily use to kids’ fatbikes and everything you need to complete your bike.

The webshop is designed so you can quickly see which fatbike suits you. You don’t have to search through endless options or make complicated choices. You view the models, compare what matters to you, and check out when you’re ready. Simply clear and straightforward.

Electric fatbikes that ride stable and comfortable

Fatbikes are known for their wide tires, but what you really notice is how smooth they ride. You get more grip and feel less of rough or uneven roads. That means you have to pay less attention and the bike rides much more relaxed, especially if you use it daily.

Most fatbikes are electric and support you while riding. You especially notice this when accelerating or facing headwinds. You keep pedaling yourself, but it takes less effort and you maintain your pace more easily. Especially if you ride longer distances or are on the road every day, that makes a big difference.

Fatbikes are therefore often used for trips to work, school, or just around the city. It’s not a bike for sport, but for convenience and daily use.

Everything in one place: fatbikes, kids’ fatbikes, and accessories

At Gofatbike, it’s not just about the fatbike itself, but everything around it. Here you’ll find different types of fatbikes, kids’ fatbikes for younger riders, and accessories that make using your bike easier.

Think about parts or extras you need to use or maintain your bike properly. By dividing the offer into clear categories, you don’t have to browse everything mixed together, but go directly to what you’re looking for.

Quickly choose without getting lost in the selection

A large selection sounds good, but often only makes choosing harder. That’s why the assortment at Gofatbike is deliberately kept clear. You see distinct models that really differ from each other, so you understand faster what suits you.

When choosing a fatbike, you mainly look at how you will use it. For daily use, it’s important that a bike rides comfortably and reliably. If you ride longer distances, you pay more attention to how long you can ride without charging and how the support feels.

Most people look for a fatbike that simply works well every day and rides comfortably. That’s exactly what this offer matches.

Buy a fatbike without hassle

Buying a fatbike shouldn’t be complicated. You want to choose a model, pay, and move on. That’s why the whole process is kept as simple as possible. You order online, whenever it suits you, without extra steps or obligations.

Frequently asked questions

Is a fatbike legal in the UK?
Yes, if it is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC): a motor with a continuous rated power of no more than 250 W that only assists while you pedal and stops assisting at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). An EAPC is treated as a normal bicycle. Most fatbikes at Gofatbike meet these rules. The exceptions are off-road models such as the ENGWE X20, X24 and X26 and the OUXI GT-2000, which are not allowed on public roads; this is stated on the product page. A bike that does not meet the EAPC rules is classed as a moped or motorcycle.
What are the rules for fatbikes in the UK in 2026?
An EAPC fatbike (250 W, assistance only while pedalling, cut-off at 15.5 mph) follows the rules for bicycles: it does not need a licence, registration, tax or insurance, and a helmet is not compulsory. You must be 14 or over to ride an EAPC on public roads (gov.uk). If your bike does not meet the EAPC rules it counts as a motorcycle or moped, which needs a driving licence, insurance and a motorcycle helmet.
Do you need a driving licence for a fatbike?
No. An EAPC does not need a licence, and it does not have to be registered, taxed or insured. It just has to meet the EAPC rules: a 250 W continuous rated motor, assistance only while you pedal and no assistance above 15.5 mph. A bike that does not meet these rules is not an EAPC and is treated as a moped or motorcycle.
What is the minimum age to ride a fatbike?
In the UK you must be 14 or over to ride an electric bike (EAPC) on public roads. Younger children can ride kids' fatbikes and mini fatbikes with a smaller frame and 16-inch wheels (roughly ages 5 to 12) on private land, not on the road. The right size depends on height and build.
What is the difference between a V8 and V20 fatbike?
Both series follow the same traffic rules: 250-watt motor and assistance up to 25 km/h. The V20 is made by QM Wheels and comes in variants like the V20 Pro, V20 Mini, and V20 Cross. The V8 is part of OUXI, with models like the V8 Ultra and V8 Pro Max. Wheel size, battery capacity, brake system, and riding position differ per model, so check the specs on the product page before you decide.
How far can you ride on a full battery?
A full battery typically gets you between 50 and 80 kilometres. The exact range depends on battery size, your weight, the road surface, the wind, and how much you pedal yourself. Models with a dual battery roughly double the range. Every product page shows the manufacturer's stated range so you can compare.
How fast will my fatbike be delivered?
We do our best to ship your fatbike as quickly as possible. The product page of every fatbike shows an estimated delivery time. Shipping is free on orders above €45, which covers every fatbike. As soon as your package is on its way, you receive a tracking link by email.
