Motor, gears, and regulations

The 250W ANANDA motor with 35Nm torque supports up to 25 km/h. You pedal yourself and there is no throttle, so the blue City Air counts as a regular electric bike, without a license, registration, or helmet requirement. You shift gears with a Shimano TY300D derailleur with seven speeds, handy against headwinds or on a bridge. We advise against tuning: you fall outside the legal category and your warranty will be void.

Brakes, lighting, and equipment

The hydraulic GEMMA disc brakes are reliable even in the rain. At the front is a 2W headlight with 30 lux, plus a daytime running light that lights up as a brake light. On the 2.4 inch RGB TFT screen you see speed, battery level, and distance, with five modes, NFC, and Bluetooth. Reinforced fenders and a sturdy luggage rack make the bike ready for daily use with a bag or crate.
