Description

The OUXI V8 Ultra Max Skinny Tires 2026 is the newest and most complete fatbike in the V8 series, perfectly suited for two people. This powerful electric bike features a 250W motor and offers pedal assistance up to 25 km/h. Unlike the fatbike version, this model rides on slimmer skinny tires: thanks to lower rolling resistance, you accelerate faster and ride more efficiently and lightly on asphalt and paved roads. This makes the bike ideal for urban use, commuting, and long distances.

The fatbike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes for optimal stopping power and shorter braking distances. The dual suspension provides extra comfort while riding. The long saddle and standard included footrests make it easy to carry a passenger.

Special features include the new rotation sensor with half-stroke response time for immediate pedal assistance, the updated LCD display with protective cover, and NFC locking for extra security. The bike also has a built-in fatbike alarm for added safety. With 7 Shimano gears and two removable batteries, you have complete freedom to cover long distances. Thanks to the dual battery setup, the range is approximately 120-160 km, depending on usage and conditions.

This fatbike supports a maximum weight of 150 kg and comes with a 1-year warranty. Perfect for adventurous rides with two or just for daily use.

OUXI V8 Ultra Max Skinny Bike at GOfatbike

The OUXI V8 Ultra Max Skinny Bike is the slim-tire version of the well-known V8 Ultra Max. Same sturdy base, same comfort, but with narrower street tires instead of thick fat tires. This makes a noticeable difference in riding: less rolling resistance, quicker acceleration, and easier pedaling on asphalt. Made for the city, for commuting, and for those who like to ride longer distances on paved roads. Below, we go through what this skinny bike can do, how it differs from the fat version, and what to consider before choosing.

Seating and comfort

You sit upright and relaxed, just like on the fat version. The saddle is long, the step-through is low, and the dual suspension keeps the ride smooth on less smooth surfaces. The big difference is under you: the narrower tires make the bike a bit more agile and lighter in corners than a thick fatbike. Handy in busy traffic where you need to steer and brake more often. Want to take someone with you? The footrests come standard and the long saddle offers space. Comfort remains a priority, even though this is the sportier of the two versions.

Range and dual battery

This version has two removable batteries, so you carry plenty of reserve for longer rides. Exactly how far you get can’t be captured in a single number. Your weight, the wind, the level of assistance, and the number of stops all determine the distance together. So consider a range, not a fixed figure. With two batteries, you naturally have more range than with one, especially if you often ride long distances. You take the batteries out to charge indoors, so you don’t have to roll the bike to an outlet. Fully charging takes a few hours.

Motor, speed, and regulations

The motor delivers 250W and supports up to 25 km/h. You pedal yourself, there is no throttle, so the bike counts as a regular electric bike. No license, no registration, and no helmet required to ride to work or the store. Thinking about tuning the bike? Don’t do it. Above the allowed speed, you fall out of the regular e-bike category, other rules apply, and the brakes and frame aren’t really designed for it. Plus, your warranty will be voided. A shame.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

Here lies the real difference with the regular V8 Ultra Max. The narrower street tires have less rolling resistance, so you accelerate more smoothly and pedal more efficiently on asphalt and bike paths. The riding feel is more direct and the bike steers lighter. You brake with hydraulic disc brakes, which also work well when wet. With 7 Shimano gears, you can easily keep up with traffic. The downside? On loose sand or through mud, you have less grip than with fat tires. For paved roads, that’s fine, but for the beach or forest, I’d go for the fat version.

Who is this skinnybike for

This skinnybike is for those who mostly ride on asphalt and prefer a quicker, lighter feel than a fatbike offers. If you ride to work or school every day on paved roads and want a sturdy and comfortable ride, this is a logical choice. The two batteries make it suitable for longer distances. It’s less suitable if you often go to the beach, loose sand, or rough terrain, because it lacks the grip of wide tires. Not sure? Feel free to compare it with the fat version.

Ordering at GOfatbike

Still undecided between skinny and fat? Look at where you ride most often: lots of asphalt and city point to this skinnybike, lots of sand and terrain point to the fat tires. Also pay attention to size and model. Read the experiences of customers who already ride the skinnybike, as that often gives a realistic picture of daily use. Ready to choose? The OUXI V8 Ultra Max Skinny Bike is available at GOfatbike.
