Description

Looking for an e-bike that smoothly takes you through the city and doesn’t quickly ask for a recharge on a long ride? With the Fiido Nomads Pro, you can ride up to 75 km on a single charge, easily completing your commute and a few detours.

Smooth riding over bumps and curbs

The aluminum alloy frame keeps the Nomads Pro light at 26.2 kg, and the air-sprung front fork with 120 mm travel absorbs curbs and potholes before you feel them in your wrists. The 29x2.1 inch CST tires roll smoothly and steadily, with a curved aluminum handlebar that keeps you sitting upright. This way, you stay comfortable even on longer rides.

Quick acceleration and short braking

The 250W mid-drive motor assists you smoothly up to 25 km/h, even on hills or from a standstill at traffic lights. With the 9-speed Shimano gears, you can easily choose the right gear for flat terrain or climbs. The HDM-5 hydraulic disc brakes with four pistons let you brake quickly and controlled, even when it’s wet, and the front and rear lights keep you well visible.

Go far on a single charge

The 417.6 Wh battery (36 V, 11.6 Ah) fully charges in about 6 hours and takes you up to 75 km. An IP54 rating means a rain shower on the way is no problem. With a load capacity of up to 120 kg, you can effortlessly carry yourself plus a backpack or bag.

Hop on the Nomads Pro and turn your city ride into a smooth journey.

Fiido Nomads Pro at GOfatbike

The Fiido Nomads Pro is an electric touring and city bike for those who want to take longer rides without quickly needing a power outlet. Large 29-inch wheels, an air-sprung front fork, and a mid-drive motor provide a smooth, comfortable ride over streets and curbs. You sit upright thanks to the curved handlebars, which is pleasant if you’re in the saddle for a while. We’ll go over what the Nomads Pro can do, who it’s useful for, and what to consider before making a choice.

Entry and comfort

The aluminum frame keeps the Nomads Pro around 26 kilos, and the curved handlebars let you sit upright, which is comfortable on longer rides that keep your back relaxed. The air-sprung front fork with 120 mm travel absorbs curbs and bumps before you feel them in your wrists, and you can adjust the suspension to move with your weight. The 29-inch wheels roll smoothly and steadily. It’s not lightweight: this is a bike you mostly ride, not often lift. In return, you sit comfortably and calmly, even on longer rides.

Range and battery

The 417.6 Wh battery (36V, 11.6Ah) fully charges in about six hours. How far you go depends on your weight, the wind, your speed, and the chosen mode, so expect a range rather than a fixed number. In an economical mode, you’ll go much further than if you constantly use full power assist. For commuting and longer weekend rides, that’s more than enough for most people. If you often ride with luggage or against the wind, the range decreases somewhat, which is normal for a bike designed for distance.

Motor, gears, and regulations

The 250W mid-drive motor helps you smoothly from a standstill and on inclines, with assistance up to 25 km/h. After that, you pedal on your own. With Shimano's 9-speed gears, you choose the right cadence for flat terrain or climbs, so you can pedal comfortably on longer rides. There is no throttle to ride without pedaling, so the Nomads Pro counts as a regular electric bike: no license, registration, or helmet required. We advise against tuning it up, as that would take you out of this category, void your warranty, and the parts are not designed for it.

Brakes, lighting, and equipment

The HDM-5 hydraulic disc brakes with four pistons bring you to a quick and controlled stop, even on long descents or in the rain. Front and rear lights keep you visible in the dark, handy if you leave early or return late. An IP54 rating means a rain shower on the way is no problem, and with a load capacity of up to 120 kg, you can carry yourself plus a backpack or bag. Four-piston brakes are more common on heavier or faster bikes; here they provide extra peace of mind and safety on longer rides.

Who is this e-bike for

The Nomads Pro suits those who want to comfortably make longer rides, with suspension, large wheels, and a battery that takes you far. Great for commuting and weekend tours where comfort is more important than low weight. To be honest: at around 26 kilos, this is not a bike to carry up stairs often or easily lift into a car trunk. If you want something light and compact for short trips, another model is better. For distance and comfort, this is a good choice.

Ordering at GOfatbike

If you’re still unsure, look at the size and version that suit you and whether you mainly ride long distances or in the city. The Nomads Pro comes in several colors, so you can pick the version you like. Customer experiences from those already riding it give a good idea of how it performs on longer rides. The Fiido Nomads Pro is available at GOfatbike.
