A torque sensor measures how hard you pedal yourself and adjusts the assistance accordingly, giving a natural feeling, even with extra weight on the bike. The assistance runs up to 25 km/h, you always pedal yourself, and there is no throttle. This makes the Henry count as a regular electric bike, without a license, registration, or helmet requirement. You shift with the Shimano 7-speed gears. We advise against tuning: the bike then falls outside that category, brakes and frame are not designed for it, and your warranty will be void.
