Description

Performance The EB2 Pro Fatbike is equipped with a powerful 250W motor that effortlessly supports you up to a speed of 25 km/h. What sets the EB2 Pro apart from the regular EB2 is the advanced torque sensor. Thanks to the smooth and powerful rotation of the drive system, you experience an exceptionally smooth cycling experience, even at low speeds or on uneven terrain. The Shimano Nexus 7 gears shift smoothly and precisely, allowing you to maintain the right cadence regardless of the surface. The hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable and short stopping distances – even on muddy, rough, or wet surfaces, you have optimal control. Comfort & Rotation The lightweight aluminum frame and 20-inch wide tires ensure excellent riding comfort and good grip. The low step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting easy. What truly distinguishes this fatbike is the perfectly balanced rotation of the crankset: every pedal stroke is efficiently converted into forward motion, allowing you to keep cycling smoothly and rhythmically, even on hilly or loose terrain. Display & Range The large full-color LCD display always keeps you informed of speed, distance, battery level, and assistance level. The powerful battery offers a range of approximately 75 km, depending on terrain and assistance mode. Conclusion The EB2 Fatbike offers more than just power and comfort: thanks to the smooth pedal rotation and optimal power transfer, every ride feels like a smooth and controlled experience. Whether you’re riding through the city or enjoying off-road adventures – with the EB2 Fatbike, you enjoy ultimate freedom, comfort, and a phenomenal rotation experience.

Is the EB2 legal?
Yes. The EB2 only assists you if you pedal yourself and stops at 25 km/h, with a 250W motor and no throttle. This makes it just an electric bike, not a moped. So you are allowed to ride it anywhere you can ride a regular bike.
How fast does the EB2 go, and am I allowed to increase its speed?
The EB2 supports speeds up to 25 km/h. Faster is not allowed: once you tune a fatbike, it legally counts as a moped. You are then required to have insurance, a license plate, and a helmet, and your warranty becomes void. With our bikes, you ride safely within the rules.
Do I need a driver's license, insurance, or registration for the EB2?
No. Because the EB2 supports speeds up to 25 km/h, it counts as a regular bike. No driver's license, no license plate, no mandatory insurance. A bike insurance against theft or damage is smart, but that's up to you.
From what age are you allowed to ride the EB2?
There is no legal minimum age for an electric bike like the EB2 in the Netherlands. Anyone can ride it, and wearing a helmet is not mandatory.
How far can you go with the EB2 on a single battery charge?
With the EB2, you can ride approximately 45 to 75 km on a full battery. The exact distance depends on your speed, your weight, how much assistance you use, and the wind.
What warranty do I get on the EB2?
You get a 3-year warranty on the frame and 1 year on the moving parts. If something breaks during that period due to a manufacturing defect, we will take care of it for you.

7GO EB2 Pro at GOfatbike

The 7GO EB2 Pro is the comfortable sibling of the regular EB2, with one important difference: a torque sensor. Instead of a fixed amount of assistance, the motor senses how hard you pedal and adjusts the help accordingly. This makes riding more natural and smoother, especially at low speeds or when accelerating. Furthermore, it is a pleasant, upright fatbike with wide tires and a low step-through frame. In this explanation, you’ll learn what the torque sensor does in practice, what else the EB2 Pro can do, and what to watch out for.

Step-through and comfort

Mounting is easy thanks to the low step-through, so you don’t have to lift your leg high. The aluminum frame is light for a fatbike, so steering and maneuvering remain smooth. You sit upright, with a relaxed back and your hands resting calmly on the handlebars. The Pro shares this comfortable riding position with the regular EB2, so you immediately sit well without having to search for the right posture. If you prefer a forward-leaning, sporty position, this bike is not for you. Comfort and a relaxed posture are the priorities here.

Range and battery

The battery is integrated into the frame and allows for a long ride. Exactly how far you can go can’t be captured in a single number. Your weight matters, as do the wind, the chosen assistance level, and how often you accelerate or brake. If you mostly ride in the highest setting, the battery will drain faster than on a relaxed ride at a lower level. The advantage of the torque sensor is that the motor only provides as much help as needed, which manages energy efficiently on an average ride. So expect a range margin, not a fixed figure.

Motor, torque sensor, and regulations

The EB2 Pro has a 250W motor that supports up to 25 km/h. The difference with the regular EB2 is the torque sensor: it measures how hard you pedal and adjusts the assistance accordingly, instead of giving a fixed push. This makes acceleration feel more natural and helps you climb hills more evenly. You pedal yourself, and above 25 km/h the assistance cuts out, so the bike counts as a regular electric bike. No license, registration, or helmet required. I advise against tuning: it takes the bike out of that category, stresses the frame and brakes more, and usually voids your warranty.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The wide 20-inch tires provide plenty of grip and absorb bumps, so you can ride smoothly on the street or a semi-paved path. Together with the torque sensor, this ensures a consistent riding experience: the motor engages smoothly and disengages smoothly, without jolts. The hydraulic disc brakes respond well, even when wet, and require little hand force. You shift with the Shimano Nexus 7-speed gears, handy for maintaining your pedaling rhythm. The whole setup feels stable and calm. One thing to note: a fatbike like this weighs quite a bit, so lifting it takes strength.

Who is this fatbike for

The EB2 Pro is for those who appreciate the EB2 but want that little extra smoothness from the torque sensor. It’s great for commuting, running errands, or a weekend ride. The low step-through frame helps if you don’t want to step high, and the size also fits taller people. To be honest: the added value is mainly in the torque sensor and the smooth riding feel, not in more speed, as it remains capped at 25 km/h. If you’re looking for a lightweight bike for the train or a sporty racer, this is not your model.

Ordering at GOfatbike

Not sure yet? Then look at the model and color that suit you and whether the size and riding position match what you’re looking for. The EB2 Pro comes in several colors, so you can choose a version that appeals to you. Also, read the experiences of customers who already ride the Pro; that gives an honest picture of how the torque sensor performs in daily use. Decided? Then the 7GO EB2 Pro can be ordered at GOfatbike.
