Motor, speed, and regulations

The V20 Mini has a 250W motor that supports you up to 25 km/h. If you go above that, the assistance stops and you pedal on your own. There is no throttle, so you always keep pedaling and the motor supplements your own power. This means the bike counts as a regular electric bike, without a license, registration, or mandatory helmet. We advise against tuning the bike: if it goes faster than allowed, it loses its status as a regular electric bike and your warranty becomes void.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The wide tires give the V20 Mini a lot of grip and a stable feel, even on curbs and loose surfaces. Together with the suspension fork, they absorb much of the vibrations, so you stay comfortable on bumpy roads. You brake with hydraulic disc brakes, which grip evenly and work well even in the rain. With the Shimano 7-speed gears, you shift smoothly to an easier or harder gear, for example on a bridge or against the wind. Because the bike is built solidly, it weighs more than a regular city bike; you especially notice this when lifting it.
