How Klarna works

Klarna: pay after 30 days, or in 3 instalments

With Klarna, you choose. Pay the full amount 30 days after receiving your order, or split it into 3 equal payments. Both options are interest-free.

Which of the two you receive is shown at checkout; it depends on the amount. No BKR credit check is involved, although Klarna does perform a light identity check.

That’s perfectly fine. You only choose your payment method at checkout.

Does Klarna cost extra?
No, neither option. As long as you pay on time, Klarna charges no interest or additional fees.
What if my application is rejected?
Then choose a different payment method at checkout and simply complete your purchase. We can’t see why an application is declined; only your provider knows.
Does my delivery time change if I pay in installments?
No. We process your order immediately after approval, so your payment method does not affect the delivery time.
What if I’m late with a payment?
Klarna sends a reminder first and then charges fees.
What if I return my bike?
Your cooling-off period does not change based on your payment method. If a payment is still being processed and you want to return the bike, send us an email or WhatsApp message before shipping it back. We’ll help you from there.
Why don’t I see the option to pay in installments at checkout?
iDEAL, in3, and SprayPay are only available in the Netherlands; Klarna can be used in more countries. If you’re in the Netherlands but still can’t find a payment method you need, send us a message.
Can I also just pay in one go?
Yes. The usual payment methods are listed there, including iDEAL. Paying in installments is optional, not mandatory.
